Built-In Learning Management System
The Makau Learning Appliance™ not only comes with e-Learning content,
but also has a Learning Management System (LMS) pre-loaded. The built-in
LMS makes it easy for administrators to distribute courses and track
progress as well as stay updated on the most current course offerings.
Administrators can manage course assignments and access a wide range
of reports all from the convenience of their desks. Similarly, students can
easily see which courses they have taken or are required to take and work
through them at their own pace. The LMS helps you maintain control of
this total e-learning solution:

Easy Installation
Installing the Makau Learning Appliance™ can be as easy as making a phone call. When choosing on-site installation, a training specialist installs the system, makes sure everything is loaded and running properly, and teaches an administrator to use the system. Once the appliance is installed for each physical location, your staff can begin an enriching learning experience over your Local Area Network.
Security
The Makau Learning Appliance™ comes loaded on a high quality Network Attached Storage device that resides behind your organization’s fi rewall, virtually eliminating external security threats and making implementation fast and easy. By managing your e-Learning courses from behind your firewall, you reduce the risk of sharing sensitive material.
On-Going Support
Makau’s dedication to being your training partner ensures on-going technical support. We offer Silver Support Monday through Friday eight a.m. to fi ve p.m. mountain standard time or Gold support which runs twenty-four seven.
Custom Course Integration
For companies that have developed custom training or have custom training needs, the Makau Course Integrator (not included) can be added to help integrate custom web-enabled courses into the Makau Learning Appliance™.
