Training Innovator Accelerates Industry Growth Through e-Learning
Makau adds CompTIA Network+, iNet+ and Project+ Courses
Orem, UT – April 26, 2006 –Makau Corporation, your next-generation training partner,
announces the release of CompTIA Network+, iNet+ and Project+ courses to its elearning
library. These courses compliment Makau’s CompTIA certification offering
which also includes CompTIA A+ and Security+.
According to Bob Shawgo, VP of Marketing for Makau, creation of CompTIA
certification training is part of Makau’s on-going commitment to developing excellence
in the workplace. Makau shares with CompTIA a commitment to growing industries
through establishing standards and educating people to meet those standards. By

The CompTIA Network+ certification is an international industry credential that serves
as an accepted foundation-level, vendor-neutral certification for networking
professionals. According to CompTIA, there are approximately 135,000 CompTIA
Network+ certified professionals worldwide. The skills and knowledge required to
receive this certification were developed from an industry-wide job task analysis and
validated through an industry-wide survey of more than 2,500 participants.
CompTIA i-Net+ certification is an international industry credential that covers Internet
basics and clients, development, networking, security and business concepts. In addition
to technical careers, this certification helps advance the careers of non-technical
professionals who are pursuing related careers such as the sales and marketing of Internet
solutions and services.
CompTIA Project+ certification is a global credential for project managers and those who
manage projects as part of their job role. Based on best practices of project management,
the certification training focuses on universal project management principles and includes
important people skills such as conflict resolution, negotiation, communication, team
building, leadership, setting expectations and managing expectations.
Each course contains 4 levels for a total learning time of about 12 hours per course.
Courses are available on CDROM, online at makaucorp.net, or as part of a Makau
Learning Appliance library. Each course retails for $319.
